July 4, Fineko/abc.az. The construction of the first bridge within the project to connect Eastern Zangezur with Nakhchivan through Iran is to begin soon.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this in Tehran at a press conference following a meeting with his Iranian counterpart.

According to the minister, the technical indicators for the first bridge have already been agreed, and its construction will begin soon.

"We also welcome Iran's constructive position regarding participation and cooperation in regional formats, including the 3+3 mechanism, and in the near future Iran will host another meeting within the framework of the 3+3 mechanism," the Azerbaijani FM added.
