Georgian tourism sector entrepreneurs exempt from property tax

July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Small and medium-sized businesses operating in the tourism sector of Georgia are exempt from property tax for 2021, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

More than 1,200 taxpayers will enjoy from the government's benefit, and the amount of the tax liability written off is about 40 million lari (about $13 million).

This decision of the government will have stimulating effect on small and medium-sized businesses under the conditions of economic losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Service informs.
