Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $113.64 a barrel

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Tuesday's trading.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange September’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.14 (0.12%) to $113.64 per barrel by 09:30 am. Following the trading on 4 July, the price of September’s Brent crude futures grew by $1.87 (1.68%) up to $113.50 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) August’s WTI oil futures increased in price by $1.79 (1.65%) up to $110.22 per barrel by 09:30 am. Trading at the NYMEX on Monday was not held due to the weekend in the U.S. (Independence Day), by the close of trading on Friday, the value of contracts increased by $2.67 (2.5%), to $108.43 per barrel.
