Oil prices rise after decline, Brent is at $104.41 a barrel

July 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Wednesday’s trading after a sharp drop the day before.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures rose by $1.64 (1.60%) up to $104.41 per barrel by 09:14 am. Following the trading on 5 July, the price of September’s Brent crude futures slumped by $10.73 (9.45%) to $102.77 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the August’s WTI oil futures grew in price by $1.01 (1.02%) up to $100.51 per barrel by 09:15 am. Following the trading on 5 July, the price of August’s Brent crude futures fell by $9.41 (8.64%) to $99.50 per barrel.
