U.S. statement about Azerbaijan-Armenia relations

July 19, Fineko/abc.az. “The United States welcomes the meeting in Tbilisi between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.”

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that U.S. Department of State Ned Price stated about this.

“The dialogue is the best means by which to achieve a peaceful, democratic, and prosperous future for the South Caucasus region, and we’ll continue to support that in any way we can,” he underlined.

He added that the U.S. plays an active role in normalizing relations in the South Caucasus.

Price noted that the U.S. consistently declares its readiness to assist in achieving a long-term, comprehensive peace together with partners with the same position, including as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
