January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Based on the received appeal about the illegal actions of Maharram Aliyev, the head of the production association of housing & communal services of Masalli district, an investigation was conducted at the district prosecutor's office.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office that during the audit of the financial & economic activity of the specified enterprise for 2021-2023, serious suspicions were revealed of embezzlement and embezzlement of State Budget finances for over 104,000 manats by Association’s officials, in excess of the legally stipulated and unjustified payments.

The district prosecutor's office is investigating this fact with the initiation of a criminal case under Articles 179.3.2 (embezzlement and large-scale misappropriation) and 308.1 (abuse of official authority) of the Criminal Code.
