February 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Walt Disney Company is planning to acquire for $1.5 billion am equity stake in Epic Games, which develops computer games, including Fortnite.

ABC.AZ reports that Disney’s press service announced that it plans to create a new "gaming & entertainment universe" together with Epic Games.

The press release says that the game universe will be linked to Fortnite. Its users are promised the opportunity to play, watch, shop and interact with the content that will fill this universe.

In particular, it will feature characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Avatar stories. It is claimed that players will be able to create their own stories, as well as freely share content. The project will be implemented on the Unreal Engine.
