February 21, Fineko/abc.az. The procedure for the care of seized property is established.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure, included in the agenda of Milli Majlis meeting to be held on February 23.

According to the draft, in cases where the seized property is not transferred to the custody of its owner or owner, the body conducting criminal proceedings, on the basis of a written application or written consent of the owner of the property and at his expense, provides care for this property. Within the framework of the management of seized property, activities related to the care of property before its sale, leasing or management are organized by a body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority, upon application of the body conducting criminal proceedings.
