February 22, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 1, 2024, the number of people employed in the field of furniture production in Azerbaijan reached 7,908 people (by 417 people, or 33.3% less against January 1, 2023).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that as of January 1, 2023, the number of people employed in the furniture industry amounted to 7,491 people.

In the furniture industry, 2 people are employed in the public sector, and 7,906 people in the private sector.

Last year, 3 people worked in the public sector in this area, and 7,489 people worked in the private sector.
