April 26, Fineko/abc.az. The revenue of American technology company IBM increased by 1% in the 1st quarter of this year up to $14.5 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that company's net profit for Q1 of the year grew by 73% compared with Jan-Mar 2023 to $1.6 bn. IBM's net profit for Q1 of 2023 was estimated at $927 million.

Company's earnings per share for Q1 of 2023 reached $1.02 and for Q1 of 2024 — $1.75.

On the other hand, the company announced in a statement that IBM intends to acquire software developer HashiCorp for $6.4 bn in cash at the price of $35 per share and that acquisition will be completed by the end of 2024.
