May 10, Fineko/abc.az. The minimum goal on preferential loans for entrepreneurs this year is to repeat the results of last year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Osman Khaliyev, the chairman of board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.

"In broad sense, it is planned to provide about 200 million manats of subsidized loans to entrepreneurs this year," he added.

Khaliyev noted that preferential loans are given in priority areas of socio-economic growth: "This year, these areas include support for industrial production and processing projects in the non-oil sector, including agricultural processing, agricultural and warehouse complexes, logistics services, aquaculture, environmental and innovation orientation, as well as media development. In the regions, the priority areas are education, tourism, and in the NAR and the territories liberated from occupation — the service sector."
