June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Jeff Bezos has once again become the richest man in the world, displacing Bernard Arnault: today, the Amazon co-founder is at the top of the Bloomberg billionaires index, with a capital of $209 billion, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Business Insider.
In recent years, the three leaders have often alternated in the top billionaires: Bezos, Arno and Elon Musk.
Bezos' fortune has grown by $32 billion since the beginning of the year, along with a 25% increase in Amazon shares. Arnaud, CEO and chairman of LVMH Group, has a net worth of $208 billion.
Bezos owns Blue Origin and about 9% of Amazon shares.
Elon Musk is third in the list of billionaires with a fortune of $200 billion. Completing the top five are Mark Zuckerberg with a fortune of $179 billion and Alphabet co-founder Larry Page with a fortune of $156 billion.
Bezos was already at the top of the billionaires index, having overtaken Musk this year — at that time the richest man in the world, and he had topped this rating several times before.
