July 18, Fineko/abc.az. From 2025, furniture for country houses produced in Azerbaijan will be exported to Arab countries.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Nusrat Abdullayev, founder and director of NS Rattan, one of the companies with a large market share in the production of country furniture.

He added that there is great demand for country furniture in Arab countries: "Our products are considered seasonal. In this regard, Arab countries can be very profitable export countries for us. According to our research, Chinese products are sold in the Arab market. There is a big difference between our and Chinese products, our products are much better. If we enter the Arab market, we’ll have the opportunity to export products worth about 2 million manats per year."

Abdullayev added that company's products are made by manual labor. In 2023, at least 50% of the products were exported to foreign countries. Last year, about 1 million manats worth of country furniture was shipped to Russia, which is the main export country. Last year, furniture was also exported to Greece. And this year, the export of products to Georgia began.

One of the main goals of the company is to increase the number of jobs to 300. Currently, a new NS Rattan production facility with 16 jobs is being built in Fuzuli, employing about 150 people. It is also planned to increase the number of jobs here in the future.
