July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2024, the number of stays in hotels and hotel-type facilities increased by 35.8% versus the 2023 same term up to 1.85 million.

Of the total number of overnight stays, 66.5% were registered in Baku, 5.3% in Gusar, 4.4% in Naftalan, 3.9% in Guba, 3.6% in Gabala, 3.3% in Shabran, 2% in Lankaran, 1.2% in Khachmaz, 1% in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and 8.8% in hotels and hotel facilities like other areas.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the number of overnight stays spent by Azerbaijani citizens in hotels grew by 34% compared with the 2023 same term up to 770,800, which is 41.6% of the total.

Over Jan-Jun 2024, revenues from hotels and hotel-type facilities increased by 26.9% against the same term of 2023 and amounted to 265.7 million manats.

Of them, 60.7% were received from room services, 27.1% from catering services, 3.3% from treatment and healthcare services and 8.9% from other services.
