Porsche blames its CEO for drop in sales

July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Porsche has blamed its CEO for the drop in sales.

ABC.AZ reports that a company that has not received the expected profit from the Chinese market for some time, has made changes to its positions in order to improve sales figures.

Porsche China’s CEO Michael Kirsch was fired, and Alexander Pollich was appointed in his place.

The automotive giant, which reduced sales of some models by 51% in 6 months of 2024 compared to last year, faced the same situation in China. In fact, Porsche has recently experienced a serious downturn with the advent of electric-powered cars in the country.

The company blamed the decline in sales on company's CEO in China, Michael Kirsch, and appointed its experienced manager, Alexander Pollich, in his place.
