July 30, Fineko/abc.az. The State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture is preparing an action program for organization and operation of a unified information system for urban planning and construction activities.

ABC.AZ reports that Committee’s chair Anar Guliyev said about this at event "Green Construction in Azerbaijan".

He noted that the Committee implements modern approaches, such as the application of environmental solutions and increasing the area of public spaces in the planning of territories:

"When preparing master plans for Baku and other cities, special attention is paid to the issue of environmental protection. Activities in this direction include the development of the digital construction sector and the efficient use of resources. Attention is paid to energy efficiency in construction, installation of solar heating systems."
