August 1, Fineko/abc.az. Oil production at field block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) in the 1st half of 2024 totaled approx. 61 million barrels (8 million tons).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to BP's report on activity in Azerbaijan following the 1st half of 2024.

Over Jan-Jun 2023, a total of 68 million barrels of oil (9 million tons) were produced from this contract area. Thus, the indicator in barrels dropped by 10.3% and in tons by 11.1%.

The average daily oil production in the 1st half of 2024 reached 336,000 barrels (a year earlier - 375,000 barrels). On average, 22,000 b/d of oil (23,000 b/d) were produced from Chirag platform, Central Azeri - 96,000 b/d (98,000 b/d), Western Azeri - 77,000 b/d (91 thousand b/d), Eastern Azeri - 52,000 b/d (61,000 b/d), Deepwater Guneshli - 57,000 b/d (67,000 b/d), Western Chirag - 29,000 b/d (35,000 b/d), Central Eastern Azeri - 3,000 b/d.
