1.2 bcm of associated gas extracted from ACG for Jan-Jun

In the 1st half of 2024, SOCAR received 1.2 bcm of associated gas from oil/gas field block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea through Sangachal terminal, as well as drilling rig on the Neft Dashalri (Oil Rocks), which is 9.1% more than a year ago.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to BP's activity in Azerbaijan following the 1st half of 2024.

According to the report, during this period, an average of 6.4 million cu m of gas per day were transferred from ACG to SOCAR.

“The rest of the extracted associated gas was pumped into the collector to maintain pressure,” the report says.
