August 1, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of the year, oil and gas continued to be shipped from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields via underwater pipelines to Sangachal terminal.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to BP’s final report for the 1st half of this year.

The daily capacity of terminal's technical processing systems currently amounts to 1.2 million barrels of oil and condensate, about 81 million standard cubic meters of Shah Deniz gas. On the other hand, the total gas processing and export capacity (including associated gas ACG) is about 100 million standard cubic meters per day.

In the first six months, the terminal exported about 110 million barrels of oil and condensate, all these volumes were transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan. This figure is 5 million barrels, or 4.35% less than for Jan-Jun 2023.
