August 1, Fineko/abc.az. In the first half of 2024, BP's direct costs for local labor (services) and materials under contracts concluded by BP with local companies in the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye region (subcontractors - 337 enterprises) and with foreign contractors operating in the region amounted to $758.7 million, which is 5.6% higher compared with last year.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to BP's reports on activity in Azerbaijan following the 1st half of 2024.

According to the document, BP's expenses within the joint ventures with local partners (14 enterprises) amounted to $332.5 million.

According to the report, the company paid $183.6 million for expenses of foreign contractors in the country.

In addition, in the 1st half of 2024, BP's expenses on 224 small and medium–sized enterprises amounted to $220.8 million, and its expenses for 22 state-owned companies - $21.8 million.
