August 2, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has approved the "Model Regulations on tourist and recreational zones", and also amended some of his decrees and orders.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of state signed a new decree in this regard.

In accordance with the regulations, the Cabinet Ministers must approve and inform the country’s president within six months about the procedure for renting and using state-owned real estate in tourist centers and implementing investment projects, as well as resolve other issues arising from the decree.

The State Tourism Agency should approve and inform the head of state within six months "On the normative legal acts provided for by the Regulation" and take the necessary measures to resolve other issues arising from the decree.

"Model regulations on tourist & recreational zones" has been developed in accordance with the Law on Tourism and regulates issues relating to the creation, management of tourist and recreational zones, the formation of tourist centers, as well as implementation of entrepreneurial activity in tourism centers.
