August 5, Fineko/abc.az. From January to July of this year, the State Service for Special Communications & Information Security (XRITDX) identified 623 indicators of cyber attacks (IOC) on government agencies.

This figure is 11% lower against Jan-Jul 2023, ABC.AZ informs with reference to a report published by the XRITDX Computer Incident Control Center. Thus, 307 cyber threats were identified and blocked based on an internal investigation, and 316 – based on an investigation of incidents received from government agencies.

In July 2024 alone, 125 cyber attacks were detected (5% less against July 2023).
507.8 million malicious links were blocked on the AzStateNet network, 2.647 million e-documents containing malicious content through a central antivirus system installed at end users, and 163,313 e-documents containing malicious content.
