August 23, Fineko/abc.az. Seven joint projects were launched on August 23, with the participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Yusif Abdullayev, the Executive Director of AZPROMO, said.

ABC.AZ reports that, according to Abdullayev, Azerbaijan will implement three projects in Uzbekistan, while Uzbekistan will carry out four projects in Azerbaijan.

"The largest project involves the construction of a five-star hotel in the center of Tashkent by Azerbaijan, with construction set to begin in September. Additionally, a large residential complex will be built in the heart of the Uzbek capital. An Azerbaijani company will also establish an industrial production facility in one of the regions of Uzbekistan," he said.

Abdullayev added that Uzbekistan will invest in the construction of textile enterprises in Azerbaijan.

"Projects related to the textile industry will be implemented in the cities of Imishli, Yevlakh, and Khankandi," he said.
