August 27, Fineko/abc.az. The tourism flow between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has experienced a remarkable 26% growth over the past two years, Fuad Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, said on air of Uzbekistan 24 TV channel.

ABC.AZ reports that, according to Naghiyev, currently, approximately 40 flights per month connect Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, facilitating the ever-increasing number of tourists. Naghiyev emphasized the immense prospects for further development of relations in the tourism sector.

"Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan possess an enormous tourism potential, encompassing various spheres such as our rich cultural heritage, wellness tourism, and ski resorts," Naghiyev stated. He also highlighted the active participation of Uzbekistan in all tourism events held in Azerbaijan, and vice versa.
