September 4, Fineko/abc.az. The national rating system of digitalization "Polyhedron-Digital Radar of Azerbaijan" will be put into operation in Azerbaijan in the near future.

ABC.AZ reports that Shahin Aliyev, deputy chairman of board of the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, said about this at event "Paperless Government: Impact of Digitalization & Innovation on Environment" in Baku.

He adedd that there are several rating indices in the world that assess the state of digitalization of countries: "We want Azerbaijan to occupy high places in these reports. However, we asked ourselves how we can more comprehensively measure the state of digitalization of our country in accordance with our needs. As a result, we have formed a national assessment methodology. The measurement mechanism approach called Polyhedron is fully consistent with our concept of digital development, it combines 3 main directions and other fundamental issues."

Aliyev noted that Polyhedron will be able to evaluate 9 different components: "We can share this approach-methodology with other countries and organizations. We will introduce this platform to the public in the near future."
