September 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on September 5, the demand of banks amounted to $65.0 million and was fully secured. This is $0.1 million (0.15%) more than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on September 3, the CBA sold $64.9 million to banks.

Following the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
