September 9, Fineko/abc.az. In order to develop "green finance", the Central Bank is working over a "green taxonomy".

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Mukhtar Babayev, Minister of Ecology & Natural Resources, appointed President of COP29, at a conference on the topic "The role of SMEs in the green economy".

Babayev noted that with the help of this taxonomy, economic activity will be classified on the basis of "green standards", enterprises will receive greater support for sustainable and environmentally friendly investments: "This will allow SMEs to make better use of available financial resources to finance their green transition."
