September 10, Fineko/abc.az. As a result of the benefits provided since 2022, over the past 18 months in Azerbaijan, lending by banks to electric and hybrid passenger cars has increased 8-fold in number and 6.5-fold in volume, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The share of electric and hybrid cars in the total loan portfolio of passenger cars of Azerbaijani banks reached 59.9%, while at the end of 2022 it was 17.8%.
