Over 116 million manats of VAT refunded in Azerbaijan in 8 months

September 12, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Aug 2024, when buying real estate in non-cash form, more than 14.4 million manats of value added tax (VAT) were returned to buyers, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Tax Service (under the Ministry of Economy).

116.4 million manats of VAT were refunded to individuals for goods bought at retail or catering facilities (with exception of petroleum products, cars, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products), as well as medical services.
