GM and Hyundai plan to jointly produce cars

September 13, Fineko/abc.az. Hyundai and General Motors have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding.

ABC.AZ reports that the memorandum envisages the possibility of joint development of production vehicles and new technologies in the field of "green" energy.

As part of the agreement, General Motors and Hyundai will discuss the possibility of joint development of passenger and commercial vehicles, internal combustion engines, as well as technologies for electric cars and hydrogen-fueled vehicles.

In addition, the companies plan to jointly purchase steel and raw materials for batteries.
