September 13, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of oil transportation through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system has increased compared with last year.
ABC.AZ informs that CPC general director Nikolai Gorban stated about this at a meeting of the governing bodies in Almaty.
He noted that by the end of August of this year, 43.8 million tons of crude oil were exported and 405 tankers were shipped from the port of Novorossiysk. Last year, these figures amounted to 42.7 million tons of oil and 391 tankers, respectively.
At the meeting, the shareholders summed up the financial performance of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
