September 13, Fineko/abc.az. 13 new trains (65 wagons) are to be delivered to the Baku metro within three years, ABC.AZ reports, quoting the press secretary of Baku Metro CJSC Bakhtiyar Mammadov.

Earlier it was reported that most of those trains, i.e. 7 trains, will be delivered to the Baku Metro this year.

"Two trains have already been delivered to Baku, and the public will be informed about this in the coming days. As a rule, trains are delivered in pairs. Testing of the two trains will begin upon completion of the relevant documentation procedures. The public will also be informed about this," he said.

"Each of the 7 trains that will be delivered before November-December will be put on the line, thus practically most of the trains of the Asi Aslanov-Darnagul line will be trains of new generation," Mammadov concluded.
