September 17, Fineko/abc.az. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that the IAEA is ready to support Kazakhstan during the referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant, which will be held on October 6.

 ABC.AZ reports that the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan wrote about this in its Telegram channel.

Ministry’s press service informs that Grossi also drew attention to the long-term cooperation with the IAEA, especially noting the role of Astana in the placement of the IAEA's Low-enriched Uranium Bank in Kazakhstan.

The 68th session of the IAEA General Conference is being held in the Austrian capital, Kazakhstan has opened a national pavilion dedicated to development of peaceful atom, country's contribution to global nuclear security and ensuring stable supplies of uranium.
