Scholz: Kazakh oil saved the German refinery from downtime

September 18, Fineko/abc.az. Astana helped Berlin a lot with the supply of black gold when shipments from Russia to Europe stopped, ABC.AZ reports, quoting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Scholz emphasizes that cooperation of Germany with Kazakhstan is very significant and beneficial for both countries, making their economies more stable by diversifying supplies. Kazakh oil, replacing Russian oil, saved the refinery in Shvedta, where a large number of employees risked being out of work.
