Car sales in Europe have declined

September 19, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of August, sales of automobiles in Europe decreased by 16.5% to 755,717 cars.

ABC.AZ reports that referring to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), that this is linked with the unfavorable situation in key markets – Germany, France and Italy.

In August, the car markets of these countries showed a double-digit drop. Germany remained the leader in car sales in August, where 197,322 cars were sold (-27.8%).

Russia is in 2nd place with 148,338 cars (+35.1%).

France occupies the 3rd place among the largest European car markets, according to ACEA, with an indicator of 85,977 cars (-24.3%). The 4th result was shown by the UK – 84,575 cars sold (-1.3%). Next comes Italy, whose dealers sold 69,161 cars (-13.4%). We add that the Spanish car market in August declined by 6.5% to 52,322 cars.
