October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Soon, patients who need treatment at home will be able to receive the necessary medicines within compulsory health insurance (CHI).

ABC.AZ reports that this means that insured citizens will be able to purchase drugs in pharmacies for free or with partial payment.

To do this, not only citizens, but also pharmacies must be connected to the CHI system on a voluntary basis. The process of obtaining medicines will look like this: the doctor prescribes an electronic prescription to the patient and places it in the system, and the pharmacist, based on the information from the prescription, provides the client with free medicines.

But here a number of questions arise regarding the list of medicines that will be available under the CHI. Will it include expensive drugs and medicines for the treatment of serious diseases?
