House prices in UK grew by 4.7% in September

October 7, Fineko/abc.az. British residential property prices jumped 4.7% year-on-year in September, ABC.AZ reports, refering to consulting company Halifax. This is a record rise since November 2022. The price increase has been recorded for the 10th month in a row. In August, prices increased by 4.3%.

Relative to August, housing prices rose by 0.3%, as they had a month earlier. Analysts, whose average estimates are given by TradingEconomics, expected a 0.2% rise.

Currently, the average value of a property in the UK is 293,399 pounds ($383,427). This is close to the historical maximum recorded in June 2022.
