October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Along with financial obligations, Azerbaijan will also assume other additional organizational costs directly or indirectly relating to upcoming conference COP29.

ABC.AZ reports that the matter will be considered tomorrow at Milli Majlis plenary session.

The parliamentarians will consider a draft law approving the agreement on holding the 29th session of the COP in Azerbaijan, the 19th session of the meeting of the parties to the Kyoto Protocol, the 6th session of the meeting of the parties to the Paris Agreement and sessions of subsidiary bodies.

The costs are tentatively set at $5.81 million, and include additional expenses relating to travel and work rights of the Secretariat and other UN officials appointed to plan, maintain or participate in the Conference, including expenses for information and cybersecurity services, as well as webcasts.
