U.S.’ share in global economy to update historical lows

The maximum share of the U.S. in the global economy reached in 1999, making up 21.01%. After that, the indicator went down. The last time he grew up was during Barack Obama's second term.

At the same time, the most noticeable increase in the share in the global economy is now observed in India (0.84 percentage points), China (0.6 p.p.), Turkey (0.32 p.p.) and Russia (0.15 p.p.).

Since 1990, China has increased its share in the global economy by 15 p.p. to 18.76%. For the Japanese economy, it shrank by 4.33%.
