October 10, Fineko/abc.az. The increase in life insurance payments in Azerbaijan has led to an increase in the harm factor.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that in the first 8 months of 2024, insurers earned 417.5 million manats of life insurance premiums and made payments for 329 million manats.

This led to an increase in life insurance premiums by 17% and payments by 70% compared with last year.

As a result, they rose to 79% for Jan-Aug 2024, compared with 54% in 2023 on life insurance.
