October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Iran is working ovre liquidation of the oil spill off Kharg Island.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Iranian news agency IRNA that a message about a leak from oil pipelines supplying oil to Kharg was received on Sunday, all actions were taken. Two other leak sites were detected by drones. The volume of the leak is not specified.

Most of the Iranian hydrocarbons are produced in the southern provinces of the country. About 90% of Iran's oil exports are shipped from Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf.

Earlier it was reported that Iran is withdrawing oil tankers from Kharg, fearing an Israeli missile attack.
