 October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2024, the insurance market of Azerbaijan amounted to 1.2 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the bulletin of the Central Bank. This bulletin also indicates the types of insurance that are of the greatest and least interest.

Thus, for the past 9 months, the least interesting types of insurance are voluntary insurance of civil liability of the passenger carrier (59,000 manats).

The second of the least popular types of insurance for the population was railway transport insurance (50,000 manats), in third place – insurance against employee fraud (86,000 manats) and other types of compulsory insurance (33,000 manats).
