 October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The insurance market of Azerbaijan for Jan-Sept 2024 amounted to 1.23 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the monthly statistical bulletin published by the Central Bank, the largest number of premiums was recorded on voluntary insurance.

Following Jan-Sept 2024, the voluntary insurance market totaled 765.429 million manats.

Of them, 495.226 million manats accounted for compulsory insurance, 270.2 million manats for insurance other than life insurance, as well as 258.279 million manats for compulsory insurance.

The highest premiums on voluntary life insurance were collected on life insurance – 462 million manats, on personal insurance - 103,916 manats and on medical insurance - 96.98 million manats.

The highest premiums on compulsory insurance accounted for the share of life insurance not relating to life insurance - 193.366 million manats, including 126.002 million manats on compulsory civil liability insurance for owners of motor vehicles and compulsory real estate insurance - 66.386 million manats.
