 October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The premiums on compulsory civil liability insurance for the operation of real estate have decreased in Azerbaijan, and compensation payments have increased sharply.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Sept 2024, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to 844,000 manats (66,000 manats or 7% less versus Jan-Sept 2023 - 910,000 manats.

Over Jan-Sept 2024, the payments on this kind of insurance totaled 105,000 manats (88,000 manats or 6.5-fold more than a year earlier —  16,000 manats).

The loss rate was 12% (only 2% a year ago).
