Coca-Cola's revenue declined for Q3

October 24, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter, Coca-Cola's revenue decreased by 1% to $11.9 billion.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Coca-Cola’s report, company's net profit fell by 8% to $2.8 billion. This is primarily due to a fairly strong decline in sales in some markets: by 7% in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and by 4% in the Asia-Pacific region.

In North America alone, sales grew significantly over the quarter, by 12%. This growth is linked only with an increase in prices, in physical terms, sales in the region have not changed compared to last year. In general, the average price grew by 10%, while the volume in units of products sold decreased by 1%.

The results were slightly better than analysts' expectations. The company also stated that it forecasts organic revenue growth for the year of 10% — at the upper limit of earlier forecasts. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola shares fell by 2.2% after the publication of the reports.
