 October 25, Fineko/abc.az. Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov amended the decision of the Legal Department’s Board from September 7, 2016 "On approval of a number of regulatory legal acts in order to improve tax administration".

ABC.AZ reports that according to the decree signed by the minister, tax audits of income received outside the country will cover the 5-year period preceding the day of the decision, in cases of receipt of relevant information from the competent authorities of foreign states.

In addition, the tax authorities will check what expenses the profits of preschool educational institutions are also used for.

Also, persons engaged in catering must, within 10 days from the 1st day of the month following the month in which the amount of their taxable transactions exceeded 200,000 manats, submit to the tax authority a written application to continue their activities as a simplified taxpayer.

The Legal Department of the Ministry of Economy was instructed to submit a new decision to the Ministry of Justice within 3 days for inclusion in the State Register of Legal Acts.
