October 25, Fineko/abc.az. The economic damage from the attacks of the Israeli army on the territory of Lebanon may exceed $20 billion.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to newspaper L'Orient-Le Jour, citing a report by a group of Lebanese experts and economists Independent Task Force for Lebanon.
According to their estimates, due to Israel's actions, economic activity is slowing down in most sectors of the economy in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, which are home to a third of the country's population and workforce. It is noted that about a quarter of Lebanon's agricultural lands and 50,000 registered enterprises were destroyed and put out of operation, which is about 60% of their total number in the country. According to the report, economic damage from the attacks of the Jewish state may exceed $20 billion.
