October 28, Fineko/abc.az. China has allocated $168 million for weather control programs, becoming one of the few countries actively developing climate change technologies.

ABC.AZ reports that one such technology, cloud seeding, uses the spraying of dry ice particles and silver iodide in the atmosphere, which stimulate the formation of rain or snow. This method allows recreating precipitation in arid regions, reducing the threat of drought and provide water supply for agriculture and cities.
