October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Hungary and Slovakia have actually restored Russian oil supplies through Ukraine, ABC.AZ reports, referring to newspaper Kommersant.
After the crisis over Lukoil's supplies via Druzhba oil pipeline was resolved, Hungarian company MOL pumped about 300,000 tons of oil to its refineries in Hungary and Slovakia. Russia’s total oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia via Druzhba oil pipeline in September reached 850,000 tons.
A significant part of the supplies, nearly 48%, was provided by Tatneft. It is predicted that in October, the supplies for Druzhba will increase. A compromise on the supply of Russian oil through Ukraine was found only two months later. As a result, MOL itself began to collect the amounts due to it before crossing the Ukrainian-Belarusian border and pay for transit.
