October 31, Fineko/abc.az. The index of business activity in the Chinese manufacturing sector moved into the growth zone for the first time since April: the National Bureau of Statistics reported that the index of business activity in the manufacturing sector amounted to 50.1 points.

ABC.AZ reports that this exceeded the forecasts of economists polled by Reuters, who expected the manufacturing PMI to be 49.9 compared with 49.8 a month earlier.

The composite PMI index was 50.8 points, up from 50.4 in August. China's non-manufacturing PMI also rose to 50.2, up from 50.0 a month earlier.
